We seek to be a creative leader and trainer, to deliver enriched learning experience and promote professional and economic development. AUCC aims to take communication to a new level in Africa, comparable to what obtains in the world communication community. And even more important for us on the continent, we seek to link what we are studying to what can solve our problems on the ground.

The African University College of Communications (like the proverbial Baobab tree that provides the canopy for much community discussion in many African communities) will be unique in its majesty, providing Life, Vitality, Energy, and a Creative atmosphere to all those who come here, and serving as a meeting place for African students and students of African affairs to discuss community matters, do research on African issues and indigenous knowledge – and exploring and applying all available forms of communication, the traditional, the modern and the new.
