ADMISSION
REQUIREMENTS The
university admits all qualified students without any reference to race
or ethnic origin, religious or political orientation, or nationality.
The following categories of candidates are considered for admission to
first degree programmes in the University.

Senior
Secondary School Certificate (SSSCE): Passes in core
English, core Mathematics, and either core Integrated Science or Social
Studies and three elective subjects, with an aggregate score of 24
or better.

General
Certificate Of Education: Passes, at least, at credit
level in 5 subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) in
the GCE Ordinary Level and 3 passes at the Advanced Level of the GCE.
One of the Advanced Level passes must be grade 'D' or better.

Mature
Student's Entry Requirement (MSER): Candidates must
not be less than 30 years old and should have at least 3 years relevant
work experience. Candidates will be required to pass a mature students’
entrance examination conducted by The Africa University of Communication.

Entry
requirements for applicants with Diploma Qualification:
Candidate with the basic qualification at the GCE 'O' Level or SSSCE
plus a diploma from AIJC, GIJ, NAFTI or a polytechnic may be admitted
to level 200 or exempted from some relevant courses:

Foreign
Students: Foreign students may be considered for admission
if they hold qualifications equivalent to those mentioned above. However,
they must show evidence of proficiency in English.

Certificate
'A' teachers with 3-year Post Secondary and relevant
GCE 'O' - level / SSS passes may apply for direct entry into Level
100.
