OBJECTIVES
To introduce the culture of (Creativity and Innovative) thinking into the curriculum of the AUCC as a way of inspiring students to find creative and innovative solutions to the 21st century challenges of Ghana and Africa.

AUCC will facilitate the development of a creative and innovative culture that will impact and permeate into every aspect of the academic and intellectual life of the College.

Creative writing as a freelance writing in expressive art forms such as poetry, play writing, theatre and performance base writing.

Theatre Arts will include acting, directing, and stagecraft, set construction, costume design and makeup, voice development, movement, theories of dramatic practices. Theatre is an immediate experience and therefore the Centre for Creativity and Innovation will use it as a means to inspire students to create and innovate.

To introduce creative theories and practices as a way to inculcate the culture of creative thinking  into every aspect of the social, economic and Business Studies, Media Arts of the University.

The emphasis will be in the practical field of activity which will have a direct impact on the lives of people within the community and in the country. Hence this program is designed to put theory into practice and be useful to the world.

The Centre for Innovation and Creativity will function within the frame work of putting the evidence of research into the functional world of practical use, hence theatre acts as a catalyst for creativity and a mechanism for the stimulation of innovative thoughts.
